Project Manager – Construction

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end planning and execution of construction and infrastructure projects for UPAKAR INFRA PROJECTS. This full‑time, hybrid position is based in Ranchi and combines on‑site presence with occasional remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to align project objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and resource plans.
• Monitor progress against milestones, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery.
• Handle expediting activities to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Oversee inspections, logistics, and equipment movement.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven project management experience in construction or infrastructure.
• Experience with expediting processes and inspection coordination.
• Strong logistics management background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with project management software and MS Office tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations; prior Indian project experience is a plus.
