BI Analyst – Tableau & Salesforce

About the role

Appian is looking for a BI Analyst to leverage Tableau and Salesforce, drive data‑driven decision‑making and support global end‑users. You will manage tickets, administer analytics platforms and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely global end‑user support, troubleshooting and resolving tickets via email and ticketing systems.
• Perform system administration, configure user roles and maintain Salesforce and Tableau platforms.
• Design, build and maintain high‑impact reports, dashboards and data visualizations.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation, update the knowledge base and recommend platform improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce and Tableau.
• Proven experience developing reports, dashboards and data visualizations.
• Experience providing technical oversight, mentorship or guidance to a team.
• Strong communication, documentation and continuous‑improvement mindset.
