About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer (SDE 1) to contribute to our core services built on Python or Go, leveraging Kafka, AWS, and MySQL. You will work on designing, developing, testing, and deploying small to mid‑scale applications.

Key responsibilities

Write clean code in Python or Go and integrate with our Kafka and AWS infrastructure.
Solve algorithmic problems, discuss edge cases, and evaluate time and space complexity.
Design and optimise relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non‑relational (MongoDB, Cassandra) database schemas.
Develop unit and integration tests and perform debugging to ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

1‑3 years of hands‑on experience building backend applications.
At least 2 years of recent, active software development experience.
Clear and concise communication skills.
