Android Engineer (SDE 2)

About the role

At Kredivo we are building the future of financial services with fast, cheap, and widely accessible solutions wrapped in a beautiful UX. We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer (SDE 2) to own the technical vision of our mobile applications and influence product, business, and technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for Android and iOS mobile applications, aligning them with business goals.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
• Champion adoption of standards and best practices, and develop reusable components and libraries.
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date on security threats and apply robust security measures.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Android development experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong architectural skills and solid understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Passion for building user‑centric, secure, and high‑performing mobile applications.
• Willingness to learn and work with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform.
