Senior React Native Developer

About the role

Codebase is looking for a hands‑on Senior React Native Developer to own mobile development end‑to‑end, from architecture decisions to app‑store delivery. You will work with a lean engineering team building scalable cross‑platform products for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high‑quality iOS and Android applications using React Native.
• Architect scalable, maintainable codebases with proper component design, state management and performance optimisation.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs such as payments, analytics and push notifications.
• Own the full release cycle including builds, testing, CI/CD pipelines and app‑store submissions.
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to ship features end‑to‑end.
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Debug and resolve performance issues, crashes and platform‑specific quirks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience with React Native.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• React Native components, hooks, navigation and performance optimisation.
• State management using Redux/Redux Toolkit and Context API.
• Native modules and bridging for iOS/Android.
• Mobile UX principles, Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Testing frameworks: Jest, Detox, React Native Testing Library.
• CI/CD pipelines: Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions.
• App publishing on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• API integration (REST/GraphQL), authentication and third‑party SDKs.
• Git workflows, Agile/Scrum, Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle and CocoaPods.
