Audit Senior – Healthcare (US GAAP/GAAS)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Audit Senior to join our team, specializing in U.S. Healthcare audits. The ideal candidate will have 3‑5 years of audit experience focused on the long‑term care segment, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients under US GAAP and US GAAS in the Hyderabad/Ahmedabad office.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
• Coordinate planning, fieldwork and wrap‑up activities, developing time budgets and meeting client deadlines.
• Conduct independent US GAAP and US GAAS research and ensure compliance with United States accounting standards.
• Mentor, train and supervise junior staff while fostering strong client relationships.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors, managers or directors.

Required profile

• CPA (or in process) or CA with 3‑5 years of experience in a public accounting or US auditing firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with U.S. offices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with demonstrated teamwork and leadership.
• Healthcare industry exposure, particularly long‑term care.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a sense of urgency and strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of Caseware.
• Familiarity with Caseview.
• Experience with IDEA data‑analysis software.
