Assistant Manager Sales

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking an Assistant Manager Sales to drive revenue growth in its Delhi property. The role focuses on expanding the hotel’s corporate portfolio, managing key accounts and supporting the sales team to achieve targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a monthly list of target accounts and develop penetration strategies.
• Conduct at least two site inspections or entertainment meetings per week with qualified prospects.
• Create monthly action plans for main market segments and review account performance.
• Monitor room‑night production, average rates, and competitor pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
• Manage contracts, update account profiles and renew agreements for assigned accounts.
• Update management on VIP arrivals and ensure proper meet‑and‑greet procedures.
• Upsell and cross‑sell hotel facilities and services to maximise revenue.
• Negotiate rates and terms to achieve optimal profit for the hotel.
• Represent the hotel at local business events to maintain visibility and network.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar sales role with proven results.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
