Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Customer Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead new product development projects for our OE customers in the automotive brake systems domain. You will act as an entrepreneur for innovative solutions, ensuring project success from concept to delivery while meeting business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define project charter, schedule, budget and risk management plan.
• Track project costs, profitability and KPI performance (CPC, OTD, EBIT).
• Ensure customer sample quality, timing and satisfaction.
• Lead and develop the project team, manage stakeholder communication and interface with customers.
• Maintain all internal and external documentation, conduct lessons‑learned and final project reviews.
• Coordinate change requests, approvals and audits.
• Support acquisition phase activities and internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (BE) with 5‑7 years of experience in project management, key account management or manufacturing in the automotive sector.
• Proven experience handling OEM customers and delivering complex automotive projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Positive, go‑getter attitude with commercial acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and brake system fundamentals.
