Assistant Manager – Business Development (Architects)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Business Development will act as Jaquar Group’s brand ambassador for architects, interior designers, lighting designers and consultants in the assigned territory. The role focuses on creating awareness of Jaquar’s Complete Bathing and Lighting Solutions (CBLS), educating key decision‑makers, and driving business conversion through strategic follow‑ups and events.

Key responsibilities

• Educate architects and consultants on Jaquar Group’s vision, scale and collaborations with renowned designers.
• Explain the benefits and USPs of Jaquar’s CBLS to architects and their clients.
• Provide comprehensive product information across all verticals.
• Manage and convert CRM accounts for architects and interior designers within the territory.
• Promote new concepts and products for both Artize and Jaquar brands.
• Conceptualise and execute special events for architects and interior designers.
• Follow up with CRM architects within 20 days post‑event to drive conversion.
• Conduct a minimum number of assigned business meetings.
• Track lead status handed to the frontline sales team and coordinate follow‑up actions.
• Supply up‑to‑date information on new product developments, modifications and company achievements.
• Ensure timely availability of collaterals, literature, CDs and other informational tools.
• Address specific queries and provide assistance to architects and key decision‑makers.
• Organise visits to Atelier, Jaquar World, Orientation Centres and manufacturing plants.
• Achieve revenue generation targets for CBLS across product verticals.
