Assistant Laundry Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Laundry Manager to support daily laundry operations at our hotel in Vagator, Goa. The role works closely with the Laundry Manager and staff to ensure guest linens and kitchen textiles are cleaned, pressed and delivered on schedule while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day laundry operations, including washing, drying and ironing of guest room and F&B linens.
• Monitor workflow to minimise peaks and valleys in production and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment by communicating and enforcing safety procedures.
• Support budgeting activities, track expenses and assist with payroll and supply ordering.
• Coordinate with Engineering for equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal guests and recognize team achievements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in hotel laundry, housekeeping or a related field.
• Ability to work within established time constraints and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial laundry machines.
• Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
