Assembly Technician / Fitter (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Assembly Technician/Fitter to join our manufacturing team in Haridwar. The successful candidate will support the assembly, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging machines, working closely with senior engineers and technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble packaging machines and sub‑assemblies according to technical drawings.
• Perform alignment, fitting and installation of mechanical components.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical parts such as bearings, belts, gears and shafts.
• Support machine trials and verify proper functioning during testing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems in coordination with relevant teams.
• Prepare machines for dispatch while ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Willingness to work with tools and measuring instruments.
• Good learning attitude and basic problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics (preferred).
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Eagerness to grow in a manufacturing environment.
