About the role
The Asian Commis Chef will support the kitchen team at Hyatt Place Goa Candolim by preparing high‑quality Asian dishes and maintaining consistent service standards. This position requires a focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and plate Asian cuisine items according to Hyatt International standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations and equipment.
- Assist senior chefs with daily prep, stock management, and inventory control.
- Ensure timely and courteous service to guests.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hotel operating procedures.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience as a Commis Chef specializing in Asian cuisine, or 2 years as an apprentice in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Basic culinary education or training.
- Strong commitment to food hygiene and safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a busy kitchen.
