Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead ABHFL's sales initiatives across a defined geographic region, driving growth of housing finance products for retail, institutional, and builder customers. This role focuses on expanding the loan book while maintaining high asset quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell home loans, home improvement loans, balance transfer, top‑up loans, loans against property, and construction finance.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional targets and contribute to the company’s 5X growth plan.
• Manage relationships with salaried and self‑employed borrowers, institutional partners, and builders.
• Ensure all sales processes adhere to statutory, regulatory, and risk‑management requirements.
• Monitor loan performance, delinquency rates, and profitability, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve product quality, channel efficiency, and customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales within the housing finance or broader financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of retail, institutional, and builder customer segments.
• Ability to lead a team, set targets, and drive performance.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
