About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its insurance sales operations in Vijayawada and surrounding districts. This role focuses on building a high‑performing field sales team, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of field sales executives.
• Drive team performance to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews.
• Oversee field sales operations to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive market expansion within the assigned territory.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall experience in insurance sales.
• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing field sales teams.
• Fluent in Telugu (spoken and written) with strong knowledge of the local market.
• Results‑driven leader with strong people‑management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven, field‑based sales environment.
• Immediate availability or ability to join within 1–10 days.
