Architect – Full‑time, On‑site (Kottayam)

About the role

MINDSPARK ARCHITECTS is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its Kottayam studio. The role involves contributing to every phase of the design process, from concept through construction documentation, while collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept, schematic and detailed design solutions that respond to context, climate and sustainability goals.
• Prepare architectural drawings, 3D visualisations and construction documentation.
• Conduct site visits, analyses and coordinate with consultants and vendors.
• Produce design presentations and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Support project management activities such as timeline tracking, quality control and on‑site execution oversight.
• Engage with clients to understand needs, refine solutions and incorporate feedback throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and architectural design with a focus on context‑responsive, sustainable solutions.
• Accredited degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) and eligibility to work in India; professional registration or progress toward registration is a plus.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills, including planning, stakeholder coordination and progress monitoring.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for multidisciplinary teams and client interactions.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and openness to learning from both contemporary practice and traditional wisdom.
