Apprentice Technical Support Engineer (ROV, Survey, C‑NAV, AGV)

About the role

The Apprentice Technical Support Engineer will provide technical assistance for ROV, Survey, C‑NAV and AGV equipment, manage databases, and generate reports for operations and management. The role involves real‑time troubleshooting, handling help‑desk calls, and preparing technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve queries related to ROV, Survey, C‑NAV and AGV equipment using available documentation.
• Handle HLS calls to support onshore and offshore operations while meeting SLA targets.
• Issue license keys for data subscriptions through C‑NAV software tools.
• Prepare, revise and verify technical procedures and documentation for offshore and onshore personnel.
• Build and maintain a technical database from subject‑matter‑expert inputs and past issue records.
• Manage help‑desk and knowledge‑base platforms such as Peoplesoft, Business Intelligence and Smart Sheets.
• Generate customized reports and dashboards for operations, commercial bidding, technical teams and senior management.
• Analyse data trends to support detailed performance analysis.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work rotational shifts (morning, evening, night, weekends) totaling 42.5 hours per week.
• Proficiency with MS‑Office and basic computer fundamentals.
• Willingness to work from the office as required.
