AppDynamics Administrator (APM, EUM & Business iQ)

About the role

Synechron is looking for an AppDynamics Administrator in Pune to implement, configure and manage application performance monitoring solutions across enterprise applications and distributed environments. The role covers monitoring application performance, user experience, business transactions and system availability, analysing performance issues and supporting teams in resolving production problems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, administer and maintain AppDynamics APM solutions across applications, APIs and business transactions.
• Monitor application performance, end-user experience, service availability and system health, and create real-time monitoring views for incident response.
• Analyse performance issues and root causes across code, infrastructure, databases and networks, working with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, database and support teams.
• Configure Business Transactions, Health Rules, Policies, dashboards, alerts, reports and thresholds.
• Integrate AppDynamics with CI/CD pipelines and other monitoring tools, and tune alerts to reduce noise.
• Support incident management, conduct performance trend analysis, capacity planning and service health reviews.
• Support end-user monitoring and Business iQ, and promote efficient use of monitoring infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in APM, application monitoring or performance engineering.
• Experience monitoring Java.NET or Node.js applications.
• Working knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and REST APIs, and of Linux/Unix systems.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL; experience with log analysis and alert tuning.
• Preferred: experience with Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus or Grafana, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, JMeter, DevOps and SRE practices, and an AppDynamics Associate or Professional certification.
