AI Transformation Engineer

About the role

The AI Transformation Engineer will design, build and ship AI‑powered tools that enable business teams to resolve customer issues in real time. Working within a small, technically focused team in Bengaluru, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers and the AI Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production‑grade AI systems, including multi‑agent workflows, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) applications and LLM‑driven services.
• Architect scalable backend services, APIs, evaluation pipelines and retrieval infrastructure on cloud platforms.
• Improve reliability, observability and performance of AI applications and define engineering standards and reusable components.
• Evaluate new foundation models, prompting strategies and frameworks, and recommend adoption.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software, machine‑learning or AI engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging and independent project management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Python development for production systems.
• Large Language Models (LLMs), prompting, tool and function calling.
• Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) design and deployment.
• Agentic workflow frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• API integration and enterprise system connectivity.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines, observability and monitoring best practices.
