Advanced QA Engineer – QE II

About the role

Invesco is seeking an experienced Advanced QA Engineer (QE II) to lead testing initiatives for complex investment platforms. You will shape test strategies, drive automation, and ensure high‑quality releases across a global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for large‑scale features.
• Lead risk assessments and define testing depth for critical components.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests.
• Design, maintain, and integrate automated test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish quality metrics, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement using Agile, Scrum, or DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to validate requirements and ensure early defect detection.
• Mentor junior SQA analysts and share best practices across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4‑7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks and scripting (Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Hands‑on experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments.
