Advanced Engineer I – Data & Analytics

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer I to support its Data & Analytics function. You will help implement data governance strategies, ensure data quality, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the investment management business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of data governance frameworks and maintain data quality and metadata management capabilities.
• Collaborate with Data Platform, Data Architecture, and other teams to apply technical standards and governance processes.
• Assist data domain teams in building and maintaining data products, applying governance principles and validating data quality.
• Develop proficiency with enterprise data governance tools such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and MANTA.
• Work with data stewards, technical teams and business analysts to translate requirements into data quality and governance solutions.
• Perform data quality analysis, generate reports, and help resolve data quality issues.
• Follow established governance standards while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality or related fields.
• Basic understanding of data lifecycle management and at least one discipline such as metadata management, master data management or data integration.
• Fundamental knowledge of data governance concepts, frameworks and data quality principles.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms or modern data architecture is a plus.
