About the role
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our Record-to-Report (RTR) process within a BPO environment. The role involves managing general ledger activities, ensuring accurate period‑close, and providing cash‑flow insights. The successful candidate will collaborate with finance teams, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reversals.
- True‑up bad‑debt provisions.
- Execute period‑close reconciliations and clear open items.
- Prepare cash‑flow forecasting reports.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in a BPO setting.
- Academic background in B.Com, M.Com or MBA.
- Exposure to the RTR process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer‑focused attitude.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Application.
