Accountant – Taxation (up to 35k)

About the role

Career Bloc is seeking a motivated Accountant specialized in taxation to join its finance team in India. You will support clients by preparing and filing statutory returns while ensuring accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file TDS, GST, and Income Tax returns for multiple clients.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Reconcile accounts and assist the finance team during audit preparations.
• Update and manage financial documentation using ERP accounting software.
• Support tax investigations and resolve discrepancies related to taxation.
• Collaborate with senior accountants to improve reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax laws.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software.
• Basic financial reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Prior experience in accounting or taxation roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards is a plus.
