Accountant – Revenue & Project Finance (Pune)

About the role
Gentrack is seeking a qualified Accountant (CA) to join its finance team in Pune. The role supports the EMEA Accounting Manager in managing the revenue function for the EMEA region, ensuring accurate reporting and project financials.
Key responsibilities
- Set up projects in NetSuite.
- Ensure accurate revenue reporting in line with UK GAAP and IFRS 15.
- Produce project profitability reports and perform variance analysis.
- Create and maintain project trackers.
- Assist in all aspects of the month‑end close process.
- Support the finance assistant with billing and aged debt management.
- Train finance assistant on accounting best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the PMO team to ensure correct project setup.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to the EMEA Accounting Manager.
Required profile
- Qualified Accountant (CA) with experience in revenue accounting.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS 15.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
