Accountant – Jabalpur (Onsite)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our finance team in Jabalpur. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities and supporting our US‑based clients during overlapping business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and manage day‑to‑day accounting activities.
• Handle General Ledger (GL) entries, reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and review GL accounts.
• Support monthly and periodic closing activities.
• Assist with financial reporting and prepare accounting summaries.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with US‑based clients, vendors and internal teams during overlapping hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, AP, AR and GL.
• Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams.
