Accountant – Full-time, On-site in Thiruvananthapuram

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join GYSZ Global’s finance team in Thiruvananthapuram. The role is full-time and on-site, focusing on daily bookkeeping, financial reporting and compliance for our platform-led business.

Key responsibilities

• Record all financial transactions, maintain general ledgers and perform bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and finalise monthly and annual financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, monitor expense records and ensure timely payments.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and internal audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS, payroll) and statutory filing requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data for decision-making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong foundation in financial accounting, general ledger management and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, preferably within technology or infrastructure sectors.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time-management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho, Tally or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modelling.
