Accountant – E‑Commerce & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our e‑commerce and compliance team in Jaipur. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting marketplace financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, invoices, expenses and ledgers.
• Operate Tally/Tally Prime and ERP systems for transaction processing.
• Prepare and file GST and TDS returns accurately and on time.
• Manage monthly payroll, salary processing and related statutory deductions.
• Perform bank, vendor and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle e‑commerce accounting, including marketplace settlement reconciliation for Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO and others.
• Track marketplace commissions, TCS, TDS, GST, refunds and returns.
• Reconcile payment‑gateway, COD and prepaid settlements.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, and assist with trademark registration documentation.
• Coordinate with CA/consultants for statutory compliance and prepare basic MIS and financial reports.

Required profile

• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 6–8 months of practical accounting experience, preferably in a CA firm.
• Hands‑on experience with GST and TDS filing.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce accounting is a plus.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational abilities.
