Accountant – D2C Brands (Noida)

About the role

Muun Home, a design‑first home and lifestyle brand, is seeking an Accountant to manage its financial and accounting operations across direct‑to‑consumer (D2C) and marketplace channels. You will work closely with the founder, providing financial insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual closing.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, cash‑flow analyses, profitability dashboards, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements, including filing returns and reconciliations.
• Handle accounting and reconciliations for D2C and marketplace platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, Tata CLiQ, and payment gateways.
• Monitor inventory accounting, returns, vendor settlements, platform deductions, commission structures, and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulators during audits and statutory assessments.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, SOPs, internal controls, and reporting systems.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, working‑capital planning, and cash‑flow management.
• Partner with operations, supply‑chain, and business teams to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations directly to the founder.

Required profile

• B.Com or Finance degree; M.Com or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a D2C, consumer‑brand, or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of marketplace accounting and reconciliations.
• Solid knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, and TDS.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally Prime.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books.
• Advanced Excel skills.
