Accountant (CMA Inter) – Full‑time Accounting Role

About the role

The Accountant (CMA Inter) will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, including cash flow, payments, taxation, reconciliation, and audit support. The position demands strong accounting knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments according to approved priorities and reconcile bank accounts regularly.
• Record cash and bank transactions accurately in Tally.
• Maintain purchase approval sheets, payment lists, and proper filing of vouchers.
• Ensure correct tax deductions (including TDS) on all payments and advances.
• Enter salary payable entries and monitor vendor advances for timely settlement.
• Prepare quarterly TDS statements and handle monthly TDS payments.
• Assist with statutory audits, due‑diligence, and other audit requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com degree (mandatory).
• CMA Inter qualification with at least 3 years of completed articleship.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and TDS management.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally accounting software.
• Knowledge of Zoho accounting software (advantageous).
• Bank reconciliation and payment management.
• Experience with audit support and documentation.
