Account Manager – Government Sales (East Region)

About the role

The Account Manager – Government (East) will be responsible for driving sales of Philips imaging and diagnostic solutions within a defined territory. You will achieve set targets, manage distributors, dealers, prescribing physicians and end‑users, and build strong relationships with key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales activities across the East region, ensuring achievement of volume and profit goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with medical distributors, dealers, physicians and hospital authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of distributor activities and support dealers to increase product sales.
• Gather and analyse market and competition information to protect and grow market share.
• Provide product knowledge, technical support, financing and shipping information to customers.

Required profile

• Graduate (preferably BE or any science degree); MBA/PGDM is preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in clinical diagnostics sales, government or corporate accounts, or public‑private partnerships.
• Strong background with imaging products and medical device sales.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
• Excellent knowledge of company products, processes and customer service procedures.
