A2R Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an A2R Accountant to join our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions across our entities. The role supports month‑end closing, statutory compliance and provides insightful financial analysis to business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions accurately and on time in accordance with group policies.
• Coordinate financial control to ensure sub‑ledgers and the general ledger are complete and balanced.
• Lead the monthly group reporting and month‑end closing process, delivering timely financial statements.
• Prepare balance‑sheet and profit & loss analysis and review monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Provide data and explanations for the annual audit and local statutory accounts.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service to business departments and controllers per agreed SLAs.
• Support compliance and internal control over accounting, taxation and reporting processes.
• Participate in process and system improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Follow additional instructions from the line manager as required.

Required profile

• B.Com or M.Com with CA/ICWA qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Indian accounting, general ledger and statutory compliance, including GST and Income Tax.
• Strong understanding of month‑end closing, financial reporting and audit support.
