Lead Auditor – IATF

About the role

The Lead Auditor – IATF will conduct value‑added audits for automotive clients, ensuring compliance with IATF standards and Bureau Veritas quality procedures. The role requires frequent travel and close coordination with audit teams and back‑office support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report audits in line with IATF rule requirements, the Business Management System and BV India Operations Manual.
• Manage audit timelines, coordinate with team members, and communicate any unexpected issues to the reporting line.
• Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and submit travel & expense statements promptly.
• Comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE policies, reporting any incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Mechatronics).
• Minimum 6 years experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 2 years in QA/QC functions.
• Hands‑on experience with core quality tools and familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 and IATF (ISO/TS 16949:2009) standards.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 or IATF is a strong advantage.
