Electrical & Automation Technician

About the role

Join EDA Future Tech as an Electrical & Automation Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical and industrial automation panels. You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure panels meet technical specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wiring and assembly of electrical and automation control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Carry out continuity checks, insulation checks, and functional testing of panels.
• Identify and troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues during testing.
• Ensure proper installation, termination, ferruling, labeling, and routing of wires.
• Verify panel wiring against electrical drawings and project requirements.
• Support inspection, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the panel manufacturing process.

Required profile

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in electrical panel wiring, assembly, or testing.
• Practical knowledge of electrical components and control panels.
• Ability to understand and work from electrical drawings.
• Willingness to work in a hands‑on manufacturing and engineering environment.

Required skills

• Electrical panel wiring.

• Basic understanding of industrial automation panels and control systems.
• Troubleshooting of wiring and electrical issues.
