Technical Project Manager

About the role

Persistent is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead data‑centric programs such as migration, ingestion, ETL and data‑warehouse initiatives. The role combines deep technical knowledge with strong Scrum expertise to drive large, cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data migration, ingestion, ETL and data‑warehouse projects.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Manage scope, schedules, dependencies, risks and delivery milestones.
• Coordinate with data engineers, architects, QA and DevOps teams.
• Provide clear status reporting and proactive risk mitigation to stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, documentation and adherence to Agile best practices.
• Track progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown and milestones.

Required profile

• 14‑16 years of technical project management experience, primarily on data‑focused programs.
• Proven track record with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience managing migration, data ingestion, ETL and data‑warehouse initiatives.
• Exposure to AWS and hyperscaler platforms such as Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data‑engineering lifecycles and delivery dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership abilities.
