Tax Consultant – Indirect Tax (Core) – Pune

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our Indirect Tax Core team in Pune. The role involves delivering tax compliance and advisory services to clients, ensuring high‑quality work and adherence to deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound employee structuring, immigration and provident‑fund matters for expatriates.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver tax solutions, maintain electronic working papers and ensure compliance with firm methodologies.
• Analyze data, produce accurate tax advisory/compliance deliverables and support tax inspections.
• Maintain confidentiality and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery.

Required profile

• Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0‑1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Analytical mindset, enthusiastic self‑starter and team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
