Tax Associate – Canada Tax Practice (India)

About the role
We are expanding our Canada Tax practice in India. The team advises public and private multinational enterprises, delivering digitally‑enabled business tax services and collaborating with tax technology teams.
Key responsibilities
- Train and develop junior staff members.
- Provide detailed review and analysis of corporate, partnership, trust and individual tax returns.
- Assist assurance teams with tax provision reviews and prepare working papers for non‑assurance clients.
- Manage risk for clients and the firm while handling multiple complex tax issues.
- Advise clients on corporate tax planning, research, compliance and tax accounting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA designation completed or in progress.
- 1+ year experience in public accounting with a tax focus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Preparation of Corporations T2, Partnerships T5013, Trusts T3 and Individual Tax T1 returns.
- Surplus calculations and Federal M&A tax work.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and technical tax compliance.
- Experience with international tax matters and tax provision work.
