Software Technologist - C++ Back End Development

About the role

The Software Development Engineer participates in full software development processes, working with autonomy and in pairing mode with other team members while challenging requirements, design, and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Vue PACS Portal modules.
• Deliver high‑quality solutions quickly for service packs by resolving customer escalations.
• Perform rapid investigation, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of escalations with a focus on quality.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to unit test automation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the team, software, and processes.
• Own and deliver assigned modules in collaboration with the team.
• Support project estimation, planning, and risk‑management activities.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across geographies.
• Learn new technologies as needed and deliver results.

Required profile

• BE/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software or IT with 5–8 years of software development and design experience.
• Strong programming experience in C++, C#, Angular and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID design principles, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of memory management, performance design, and multithreading.
• Excellent coding and debugging skills.
• Experience in system design and implementation of software products.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, tools and practices.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical AI usage in software engineering.
• Healthcare domain experience (DICOM/HL7) is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, TFS and Jira.
