Software Development Engineer, Digital Acceleration

About the role

Amazon.com is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join the Digital Acceleration team. You will help enable AI, data, metrics and analytics at scale for multiple Amazon digital teams, building enterprise‑scale, mission‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI, analytics and data‑engineering products focused on metadata management, privacy compliance, data quality and customer lifecycle analytics.
• Design and build multi‑tiered, distributed systems that operate at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with digital teams to ensure software meets operational goals and customer‑centric requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life‑cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, operations).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
