Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to support corporate tax reporting and direct tax compliance for DNV entities in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The role will involve preparing tax returns, managing TDS and withholding tax, and collaborating with internal and external tax advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns for entities in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
• Handle TDS, withholding tax compliance and related reconciliations.
• Gather and provide data for tax audits and respond to auditor queries.
• Assist with transfer pricing compliance and coordinate with consultants.
• Support tax assessments, appeals and liaise with tax counsel.
• Provide tax‑related information for statutory audits and internal projects.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to collect necessary data for filings.
• Offer tax support to other DNV regions as required.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in corporate tax, transfer pricing and international tax matters.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations, including GST and TDS.
• Experience preparing tax returns and handling tax audits.
• Ability to work closely with internal accounting teams and external consultants.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
