Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

LSCC India is seeking a technically strong Senior Tax Accountant to lead India statutory tax compliance and support global tax provisioning. This individual‑contributor role offers deep exposure to corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing while collaborating with regional and global tax teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax (CIT) returns, compute current and deferred tax, and manage advance tax instalments.
• Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, Form 3CEB filings, and SFT (Form 61A) submissions.
• Ensure timely compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax regulations, including GST and withholding tax.
• Review and respond to tax assessments, scrutiny notices, and audit queries.
• Perform peer reviews of tax returns, monitor audit progress, and review contracts for tax implications.
• Collaborate with the India Accounting Manager on general accounting matters and support Rest‑of‑World quarter‑end and year‑end tax provisioning.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 5 years of direct and indirect tax experience.
• Preferably background in a Big 4 firm in India or a large multinational.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex tax compliance and coordinate with global tax teams.
