Senior Pharmacist

About the role

Luma Fertility is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations at its IVF clinic. The role combines medication dispensing with full ownership of pharmacy processes, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense fertility medications according to prescriptions and clinic protocols.
• Provide detailed counselling to patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Serve as the primary pharmacy contact for patients and internal clinical teams.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and care coordinators to integrate pharmacy services into treatment pathways.
• Manage inventory forecasting, procurement, and waste reduction.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs for consistent pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, audits, and documentation standards.
• Monitor patient adherence and intervene to improve outcomes.
• Stay current on advances in fertility pharmacotherapy.
• Train and mentor junior pharmacy staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• B.Pharm, D.Pharm or Pharm.D with a valid pharmacist license.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in IVF, fertility, or specialty pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, inventory systems, and clinical protocols.
• Proven ability to manage pharmacy operations independently and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centric mindset.
• High attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.
