Senior Project Manager – Healthcare Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare technology projects worldwide. You will design, develop and manage customer projects, ensuring they meet defined Project Management standards and deliver economic results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise implementation of Varian hardware and software products with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and contribute to pre‑sales strategy, solution validation and feasibility assessments.
• Manage high‑visibility, multi‑regional programs, driving system upgrades, infrastructure modernization and clinical workflow enhancements.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Service, Installation, Clinical, IT, external partners) to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify, mitigate and proactively manage project risks, escalations and recovery scenarios.
• Provide executive‑level communication, reporting and stakeholder management.
• Author, review and publish Project Management knowledge articles and act as a KCS contributor.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, multi‑site hardware and software projects in the healthcare sector.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence executive stakeholders.
• Excellent risk management and issue‑resolution skills.
• Capability to mentor junior team members and act as a stand‑in manager when needed.
