Nurse Assistant – Patient Care & Support

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care, support clinical teams, and maintain accurate medical records in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and maintain patient documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and report changes promptly.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and care for medical equipment and attend regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th and graduation.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑centred approach.
