About the role

The Hospital is seeking a diligent Computer Operator (Typist) to manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Operation Theatre (OT) and Recovery areas in Khar, Mumbai. The role combines administrative oversight, documentation, and coordination to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant surgical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily functioning of the OT and Recovery, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Handle overall administration of the OT, including equipment maintenance and documentation.
• Type discharge summaries and other clinical documents accurately and promptly.
• Schedule surgical procedures according to consultants’ instructions.
• Plan and maintain staffing patterns for the OT.
• Collaborate with ancillary services to provide a clean, safe, and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Set standards for facilities and equipment, monitor utilization, and manage supplies.
• Participate in quality assessment, improvement initiatives, and review quality reports.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health professionals regarding care.
• Ensure proper billing of patients in the OT and adherence to health‑and‑safety and infection‑control policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational information.

Required profile
