Senior Investment Analyst – Kolkata

About the role

We are a promoter‑led investment office seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to support investment evaluation, portfolio monitoring and strategic initiatives. The role offers direct exposure to senior stakeholders and a broad range of opportunities across financial and alternative asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and risk assessment.
• Conduct research across equity, debt, NBFCs, mutual funds, AIFs, private/unlisted investments and other financial instruments.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market developments, sector trends and emerging opportunities.
• Develop investment notes, financial models, portfolio reviews and management presentations.
• Support senior stakeholders in assessing investment opportunities, downside risks, returns and strategic considerations.
• Liaise with fund managers, NBFCs, financial institutions, investment advisors and other market participants.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in investment analysis, investment management, family office, NBFC, investment banking, portfolio management or wealth management.
• Significant exposure to the NBFC / Financial Services sector or a comparable investment‑focused environment.
• CA or CFA qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong command over financial modelling, valuation, investment research and portfolio analysis.
• Proven ability to independently assess opportunities and articulate insights to senior or promoter‑level stakeholders.
• High level of discretion, commercial acumen and maturity in handling confidential investment information.
• Based in Kolkata (Taratala).
