Associate Professor – Finance (Full‑Time)

About the role

Globsyn Business School is seeking an experienced academic professional to join its faculty as an Associate Professor of Finance. The role involves delivering high‑quality finance education to postgraduate students and contributing to the school’s research and curriculum development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Teach core and elective finance subjects across PGDM programs, using case studies, simulations, and experiential learning methods.
• Design, update, and continuously improve finance curricula in line with AICTE guidelines and industry trends.
• Mentor and advise students on academic planning, internships, live projects, and career development.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable finance journals; present findings at national and international conferences.
• Prepare examination materials, assess student performance, and ensure academic integrity.
• Engage in consultancy projects, research grants, and collaborative initiatives with industry partners.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related discipline from a recognized Indian university.
• 8‑10 years of combined teaching, research, or industry experience, including at least 2 years post‑Ph.D.
• Full‑time MBA/PGDM‑Finance, C.A., ICWA, or M.Com with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Minimum of six publications in SCI‑indexed or AICTE‑approved journals; books, book chapters, or patents are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in finance theory and practice.
• Experience with case‑study methodology, simulations, and business games.
• Familiarity with technology‑enabled teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
