Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations for an audit firm. The role involves managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring statutory compliance, and delivering accurate financial information to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complete day‑to‑day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny and month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, perform vendor/customer and bank reconciliations.
• Process GST, TDS and other statutory filings with timely documentation.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, cash‑flow statements and management reports.
• Monitor receivables, payables, expenses and working capital.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments on finance matters.
• Assist in budgeting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and regulations.

Required profile

• B.Com / M.Com or CA Inter qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a structured corporate or audit environment.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
