Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Chennai team. The role works on India/UK shift hours (10 AM‑7:30 PM IST / 1 PM‑10:30 PM IST) and will design, build and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure that supports a distributed micro‑services platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, highly‑available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain AWS‑based solutions for a micro‑services architecture.
• Deploy observability tools to monitor applications and cloud resources.
• Analyse logs and performance data to troubleshoot issues.
• Apply security best practices using AWS security services and tools.
• Collaborate with application teams to document Development, Testing, Staging and Production environments in Confluence.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of overall IT experience with at least 5‑6 years of hands‑on AWS work.
• Proven experience delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of micro‑services architectures and observability concepts.
• Ability to work in shift‑based schedule aligned with India/UK time zones.
