Senior Accountant - Finance (Manufacturing Experience Required)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 4‑8 years of experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L statements, balance‑sheet schedules and other financial reports.
• Ensure GST, TDS and other statutory compliances are met.
• Post purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries in a timely manner.
• Monitor vendor and customer accounts and resolve reconciliation issues.
• Use Tally/ERP for accounting and reporting.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities and audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, auditors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Background in manufacturing or FMCG, with knowledge of inventory accounting.
• Educational qualification: B.Com, M.Com or CA Inter preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and MIS reporting.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities.
