Accountant – Financial Reporting & Controls

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to lead the preparation of accurate financial statements and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes. The role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to support strategic financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including consolidated reports for multi‑entity organizations.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members.
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Mentor junior accountants and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and integrate best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
• CPA or CMA certification.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
