Senior Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations using Tally and Zoho Books.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations using Tally and Zoho Books.
• Maintain and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage routine banking operations.
• Handle GST filings and ensure TDS compliance.
• Assist in preparation and basic finalization of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for financial clarifications.
• Effectively multitask and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Tally.
• Hands‑on experience with Zoho Books.
